While Youth Horizons has grown in many ways over the over 30 years, the need for our original programmes has not gone away. Youth Horizons is committed to responding to the needs of the community in whatever way possible. With this in mind we have a number of additional programmes including:

• Music Lessons
• CE Scheme (Provided by DSP Department of Social Protection)
• Chess club is held every Wednesday from 6pm to 7pm  in Youth Horizons for children aged 9 to 12. It is run by Paul Leavy and costs 2 euro each week.

We are aiming to run an evening music club in Youth Horizons in January 2025 for kids aged 10 to 12 where they will learn preliminary music theory, ukulele and keyboard skills.  The first group lesson will start at 6pm then at 6:30pm the next group will have a lesson until 7pm.  Please contact youthhorizons2@gmail.com to sign up.
